Quick update

Well it has been a few days since my last post and I have kind of come to the conclusion that I am not really sure where I am going with this blog. Not that I really was from the beginning as I said in the first post. I don't really have a subject matter to keep coming back to and not sure my life is all that interesting to write about, so I don't know if I will keep it going all that long. If you want a really good read I particularly recommend would-be that I have linked up and also for something very different but also very good hairy gymnast. There are others that I read, that I keep meaning to link up but feel so tired and lazy right now. I will do that soon though.

This week has really been just solid partying every night mixed with recovery during the day, usual student stuff. Me and a friend decided we would sign up to the surf society, neither of us have done it before but I am really looking forward to it, certainly going to be cold although I am kind of used to it with windsurfing.

My timetable finally came out on friday. I don't understand why it took so long, particularly as it was so fucking rubbish, lectures all over the place and it looks like most weeks I am going to have two 9am lectures. This revelation along with the fact that I wasn't feeling too brilliant from the previous days put me in a particularly foul mood, so decided I wouldn't have a night off to recover and just go out again. I was pleased I did in the end though because it was definitely my best night of the week.

All this economic doom and gloom

Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on Northern Rock in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan.

In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.

Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song, while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.

While Samurai Bank is soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, Ninja Bank is reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.

Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal.
